Carbon Fiber Tubing
Carbon Fiber (sometimes known as graphite fiber) is an extremely strong and lightweight fiber-reinforced polymer. Carbon Fiber material is commonly used wherever a high strength-to-weight ratio and rigidity are required (i.e. aerospace, automotive, sporting goods, robots, quad-copters, and civil engineering). Other useful properties include its ability to withstand high temperatures and its inertness. The molecular structure is very stable, giving it a high melting point and making it less likely to react chemically with other substances; making it useful for components that may be subjected to heat and for applications that require resistance to corrosion.
